I dont really want to write this review but feel compelled to. I had been to the Yurt restaurant some years ago at the farm. The food was always just ok but very expensive. I went to pcik your own strawberries some weeks ago and saw they had a new restaurant. So went there today with my wife as a special treat , a day out in the country. The menu was very odd so we plumped to share a beefburger with fries and we ordered an extra portion of fries and 2 coffees. The extra order of fries arrived about 10-15 minutes before the coffee and burger. The fries were OK ish. When the burger eventually arrived I said to my wife that it did not smell good. We ordered well done and I suppose it could be described as well done. The presentation was very poor the bun looked half cooked and had some strange looking sauce on it. My wife simply did not want to eat any of the meat and tried to eat the bun but could not stomach it because of the smell. Her words were she could well have been sick if she had tried to eat it. I took one tiny mouthfull of the meat and that was enough for me. I ate probably 2 small mouthfuls of the bun and that was me done. We left probably over half the chips which by then were completely cold. I asked for the bill and got a bill for £30. I said to my wife if the waitress was to ask us how was the food that i would give her an honest answer that the smell was very bad. She did not ask us so i did not volunteer the info. My wife did not want to leave a tip but I left £2 anyway because its not the waitresses fault its the owners fault. That the place is rammed to the rafters at the weekend i can only put down to the locals having more money than sense, they have iron stomachs or that their sense of smell has been destroyed by covid. my wife said as we left " i am never going back there" and sadly i wont be coming back to eat. Maybe a coffee but thats it.

Very cute place! The farm shop has a great range of products, their frozen section allows you to bring your own container to fill up to reduce plastic! They have a few frozen pastries to choose from which is amazing! Veggies and fruits look absolutely beautiful. Great selection of break as well. The restaurant has a fam vibe, lovely staff and delicious coffee with a raspberry and pecan brownie. Will definitely be back to try some food options!

I came here over a Summer weekend with my sister and cousin. We spent about 4 hours here, went strawberry picking, walked and explored in the fields, visiting the farm shop and ate in the restaurant. I particularly enjoy the farm shop which has great selections of various items and I plan to come back. It is a good day out, especially suitable for young kids

Well stocked garden centre and prices are very competitive and value for money. The cafe has great vegan and vegetarian options and service was impeccable. The flatbreads are cooked in a wood fired oven and the dough was being made as we sat enjoying drinks.

A great place for spending a fun few hours, lots of plants to select from in the garden shop, the food was also great and the cake delicious, the staff friendly and polite. We will definitely go back 🤠

Always brilliant, wonderful staff and a lovely menu. Very dog friendly, the obvious choice to help socialise Zeus and nice walks from the carpark. 10/10.

The most amazing afternoon tea! Can’t recommend enough, every element was delicious. Excellent savoury selection, was nice to have a variation on the standard finger sandwich’s.

Amazing breakfast spot. All the food is locally sourced. Outdoor dining area is lovely with open fire and field that leads to an alpaca farm. Coffee is great! Recommend the eggs Benedict and pancakes with bacon. Staff are really friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. Overall lovely chilled cafe!

Absolutely amazing experience! We have been to the farm before and always liked their outdoor cafe...and were very pleasantly surprised to see a bigger, better and even beautiful cafe/restaurant!! The reclaimed wood setting looks amazing! Loved the delicious food and shoped for some fresh fruits and veggies in the farm shop! They also have a lovely plant nursery and garden centre! Loved it totally!!
